Sports Courts offers a variety of classes for children ages 4 thru 16 years of age.
Programs are varied for different skill levels.

T-BALL

Children between the ages of 2-5. The children will be instructed on the proper way to throw, catch without a glove, running the bases, hitting and basic rules in a safe friendly manner with age-appropriate skills and an emphasis on Safety, building confidence and having FUN! Sports Courts will offer various drills to enhance your child’s abilities no matter their skill level.

BASEBALL

Children 6-14 years old. We will teach the fundamentals, proper fielding position (ready), proper fielding techniques for infield/outfield, proper throwing motion, catching, cutting the corners, leading, bunting, hitting in Batting Machine year round, hitting via live pitching (coach), feet positioning for different positions. These sessions will be offered in group sessions, small groups (2-10 kids) or individually.

SOCCER

Sports Courts offers programming to improve your child’s skills, teach the fundamentals, improve upon their foot skills, proper kicking techniques and rules of the game. Each week we will teach various skills and build upon them each week. These classes will be offered to children 5-12 via group sessions, personalized groups and individually based on the age.

SOFTBALL

Sports Courts will not have a scheduled softball program, but will provide with coordination of parents, leagues and local youth organizations. Sessions will include teaching proper fielding positions, proper throwing, hitting in/out of Batting cage, rules of the game and fundamentals with age appropriate drills and build upon each weeks drills. These can be individual or group classes.

VOLLEYBALL

Sports Courts would be happy to coordinate a schedule with parents of children that would like to learn the rules, fundamentals, proper positioning/rotating, spiking, setting and serving.

BASKETBALL

Instruction will include various drills to enhance your child’s abilities no matter their skill level for children 6-14 years old. We will teach the fundamentals, shooting offensive/defensive positioning, moving with/without the basketball, passing techniques, breaking the press, dribbling, free throw shooting and play simulated games incorporating what we have learned. These sessions will be offered in group sessions, small groups (2-10 kids) or individually.

LACROSSE

Sports Courts will offer skill building classes for children 6-14 years of age. Classes will offer age appropriate drills, passing, shooting, fielding ground balls and the rules of the game.

HUFF & PUFF BASKETBALL

Get together with men or women 30+ years young for a fun and competitive game of basketball on our outside court. We will play in the fall season. Start time will be Saturday mornings at 7:30am. Fall season starts September 11, 2016.

BASEBALL CLINICS

Our goal is to provide each individual with the skill set to maximize their potential on the field. We will coach/instruct how to hit, bunt, run the bases, field grounders, field pop ups, catch, pitch and how to play catcher by utilizing various drills. The various clinics will focus on a specific function each session. These clinics are geared for children who want to increase their current skill level and have a passion for the game. Class size will be determined based on the clinic.

BASKETBALL CLINICS

Our goal is to provide each individual with the skill set to maximize their potential on the court. We will coach/instruct how to dribble, shoot, footwork, defense, breaking zones/presses, the fundamentals and all the facets to take their game to the next level. These clinics are geared for players who want to enhance their game and are willing to put in the effort. Class size will be limited in order to focus on helping each child succeed.

AGILITY/MOVEMENT

These classes will be offered to children 6-14 years old. The goal is to strengthen your child’s core, improve their lateral movements, prevent nagging injuries and make them quicker. These classes will be taught in group sessions, personalized groups and individuals.

We are here to help meet your child’s needs in improving his athletic ability no matter the skill level. Please let us know if one of our programs does not meet your needs and we will customize an individual or group program for you.
